One of the best places on cruise ships to work the ever popular is the Casino - more free time to go ashore than other departments. You have the casino tables,cashdesk or the slots, either one is a great place to work. It is obviously about the smooth running of the operation. You have the Casino Manager who is in charge (some of the bigger ones have a marketing manager above), then the Assist. Managers, CashDesk Managers,Slots Manager,Supervisors, Dealers, Cashiers, slot technicians.So there is quite a variety of jobs available - casinos have always had a bit of mystique about them, though it is not always such a wonderful environment to work in, people smoke etc.
To get a casino job on a cruise ship you do need a few years casino experience behind you, for cashiers normally working in a bank or change bureau, to apply for a cruise job. In other countries you apply to your hiring agent for Royal Caribbean. If you enter Royal Caribbean.com in your browser then search for careers.
