New Cruise Ships & Job Opportunities for 2009!

Despite all the talk of the current economic climate, the boom in the cruise industry just doesn't seem to be slowing down.

It's even more hard to believe when you consider that each one of these ships costs hundreds of millions of dollars to build!

What's more, these aren't the only ships being planned.

This year we have yet another "Biggest Cruise Ship in the World" entry from Royal Caribbean with their jaw-dropping 6,400-passenger, Oasis of the Seas.

Of course, this is fantastic news for those looking for cruise ship jobs because these new ships alone will create a demand for an EXTRA 10,000 new crew members in 2009 to fill every position imaginable - from cleaners, entertainers, shop staff, bar staff, beauty staff, security, casino staff, photographers and many more.

Here's a look at some of the new cruise ships being launched in 2009 and some important information about each new ship:

What is the best way of getting cruise line bar tending jobs?

The best way is really to contact the cruise line directly and simply ask them who handles these kind of jobs. You can do some research beforehand on the internet to contact the right department. Hope that helps, Cheers Eigil

Cruise ship job openings

Current cruise ship job openings

The best place to find current job openings onboard cruise ships are specialized online job portals, such as this one:
Cruise ship job vacancies.

cruise ship jobs

Many cruise lines publish their current job openings on their websites, usually under "corporate information" sections. Some cruise lines, such as Disney Cruise Lines, have dedicated employment micro sites.

You may want to send a speculative job application to cruise lines or recruitment agents. Don't expect a great response, but sometimes it may work. Not all job vacancies are always advertised.

Some interesting cruise jobs, check it out.
