Gettting a job on a cruise ship for the summer?
I think it would be a great experience for me to get a job on a cruise ship (like princess cruises) but i was wondering if i wanted to get a possition as a dishwasher or a maid/ laundry folder could i work on a two week cruise and be done? I have to back at school in the fall. also how young would they hire?
Like sds said, this is the best approach.
Contract normally run for 6 to 10 months, so I doubt you would get a 2 week job. Also because you need to learn all the safety requirements for being on a ship and that would not be done in 2 weeks.

i wanted to do the same thing. Some company’s have the age at 18 some at 21. Just go to their website and click on the small link that usually exits on all websites at the bottom or top page that says careers or jobs. Most of the time they want people who have already had experience as a waiter or a house keeper. maybe they have a number you can call and ask questions.
good luck

You can’t really work on a cruise ship as a summer job….When you sign up you must stay for a good many months…like 10 or so….This is not something to do for fun during the summer.
