how do I bet job as cruise ship dance instructor?

My partner and I are amateur ballroom dancers with knowlege of country, club, and other dances. We would like to know how to obtain information on getting a job on a cruise ship as dance instructors, for a short to moderate time. We have experience teaching and are a fun, young couple. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My dance instructors have done this. All the cruise lines they've been on go through agencies. They did just one cruise at a time (like a holiday), no long commitment.

Contact all cruise lines. They have sites where you can apply. We aware that they expect you to sign a contract for a set number of months and you will also be expected to take care of other duties onboard.

Most of the dance instructors on cruise ships are members of the cruise dance troop. They typically commit for a longer time so they have time to practice and perform on stage in the evenings. If you are interested in performing and teaching, this would be a good bet for you.

If you just want to be an instructor, it may be trickier, but doable. Contact the major cruise lines and send them your resume. Follow up with them to check on progress.

Put together a resume of dances you and your partner know and classes you’ve taught. Also, put a video online – either on YouTube or on your own website. Send the resume to all major cruise lines explaining your interest and dedication.
