I want to work as a bartender on a cruise liner. I have sent my CV to various companies but have heard nothing. Does anyone know of a way of getting work with cruise ships??? It seems they dont advertise so maybe they use employment agencies??? Can you help please!!!

Go directly to the website for the cruise line you’re interested in. You’ll find a career section on them all with open jobs listed, so you can submit your resume that way.
Good luck!

Cruise liners hire the same way fishing vessels do – by word of mouth at watering holes local to where they dock. If you want to work on a cruise liner, you need to figure out where the crews of these ships port and what bars they go to.

you need relevant experience and numerous qualifications in customer service, management, tourism, etc etc.
itll be a pretty sought after job so you’ll need to have a lot to show that you have what it takes.
